About Background Color Eraser
The eraser compares each pixel with the selected RGB color. All matching pixels become transparent, including disconnected areas and matching colors inside the subject. Each adjustment starts from the original image.
When to Use It
Clean solid backgrounds from simple logos, scanned marks and flat graphics. Complex scenes, hair and shadows generally need a more advanced editor.
Image Privacy
Images are processed locally in your browser whenever supported. We do not intentionally upload or store your images on our servers.
These tools use browser image and canvas APIs. Site analytics, advertisements and optional signature fonts can make separate network requests. Keep your original file; browser export may alter metadata, color profiles or animation.

Is this AI background removal?
No. It is an interactive color eraser with a tolerance control.
What does tolerance change?
Higher tolerance includes colors farther from the selected RGB value. It may also remove more of the subject.
Why are parts of my subject missing?
The subject contains colors close to the background. Lower tolerance or use a different source image.
Does the checkerboard appear in the PNG?
No. It is only a transparency preview behind the canvas.
Can I restore erased pixels?
Reset restores the original image. Changing the selected color also reprocesses the original pixels.
